Jen hoped to avoid induction, as being induced restricted her to bed and monitors, but when contractions came thick and fast, she soon realised that standing and pacing would not have been a possibility anyway, so in the end, the bed was very welcome.
Did it change the outcome, the ending of the story…not one little bit !!
For a brief moment, I may have wondered if the mood in the room would reflect any disappointment due to Jen being restricted to a typically clinical environment.... but no, not even a hint of negative vibes encroached on this birth space.
When I entered their cosy little birthing room, all I saw was absolute connection between Jen and Aariel. Not only did Aariel stay by Jen’s side every.single.moment, he was a champion hand massager, applier of cool towels, strength giver, and all round awesome motivator from start to finish. So much love and support that added to the strength Jen needed to focus entirely on breathing her precious little person into the world.
This beautiful teamwork finally resulted in the birth of Leura Dawn, who, from the very 1st moment of her being, became the heart, soul and light in her proud parents eyes.
Welcome to the world Lulu !
Welcome to parenthood Jen and Aariel
I see a beautiful life ahead for your little family xxx
What an awesome birth journey guys... and thank you so much for allowing me into your space.
